It's very thin and light, great have as a standby.

It serves the purpose of adding a water-wicking layer to your wardrobe. It's very thin and light, so it won't add warmth - other than wind/water protection. I purchased it to wear to a sporting event where the weather was uncertain. It is light enough and, in the provided carry bag, small enough to carry around without being inconvenient until needed. You can wear it over a hoodie or even under the hoodie if you want to show your team's colors. I wouldn't expect it to be your primary wet weather jacket, but for a warm, potentially wet day it's great to have on hand.

But if you need something more durable for daily use or hiking, this might not be the best choice.It does the job but has its limits, so I give it 3 stars.
